Our town, Valdobbiadene, is ready to dress a mask on Sunday the 16th of February thanks to the association of the downtown, the Pro Loco of Valdobbiadene.

Piazza Marconi will host the carnival floats’s parade with music, colour and fun for families and friends.

The event will start at 2.30pm with the traditional parade then at 4.30 the band I Re dei Sette Mari, a cartoon cover band who won the EMP prize of the Lucca Comics, will have a performance on the stage.
At 7pm the local DJs, Marco Agostinetto and Umberto Ravazzolo, will play during the Happy Hour.
During the afternoon, there will be beverages and foods for everyone.

Of course, the event asks for a dress code in mask and the best one will be rewarded.

If you don’t have the possibility to visit Valdobbiadene during the Carnival weekend, we suggest you a city that should be visited during the Carnival that is Venice. This city becomes so fascinating and mysterious so it is worthwhile. In the streets and in the small squares there is the possibility to meet the masks of the historical characters of the city and every day there are many events in the squares or museums for all persons.

The cities of the province of Treviso will host every weekend the carnival floats’s parade; if you would like to know more about it, click here.
